We live in a world of SuperStore returns gobbledygook so to escape from this we have tried to make our returns policy as simple, fair and as painless as possible.
We will usually dispatch a warranty replacement to you on the day that we receive your returned item.
You can return any item purchased, within seven days of delivery, for a full refund of the purchase price or a replacement if it is, faulty, is not compatible with your appliance or for any other reason - even if it transpires that your appliance is faulty! If you buy a power supply and your appliance is faulty then the power supply is no good to you! We understand this! Refunds will usually be processed within seven days of receipt of the return.
Please state clearly whether you are returning an item for
replacement or a refund and include:
Your invoice or receipt number - this begins AD............
The Purchaser's name.
The Purchaser's original delivery postcode.
The email address used in the online transaction.
A contact telephone number.
Please replace the fuse in the plug to see if this solves the problem before returning a power supply!
Power Surges can blow fuses, kill power supplies and even kill electrical devices. They can even cause fires! So, PLEASE use a surge-protector.
Power Supplies produce heat (like a light bulb) and therefore need to be kept ventilated.
DO NOT DO like one lady did cover it with your duvet or another lady pile magazines on it and let the cat sleep on top! These are true accounts of stupidity!
Power supplies, like any other electrical device, should be switched off at the plug socket when not in use!
You can return any item purchased, within twelve months of delivery if it becomes defective and fails you, for a replacement. Power supplies have an average life of about eighteen months of general average use but they are a bit like light bulbs (and people) some will have a long life and others will fade out before their time! When you purchase a power supply from us you know that you have at least a year of power! If we replace the adaptor within the one year warranty then the warranty on the replacement will only run for twelve months from the date of your original purchase. That means for one purchase you are guaranteed a functioning adaptor for twelve months!
Note: You MUST return any power supply purchased from us with the mains lead that we supplied. All our mains leads are supplied to us by one supplier (and have been for over five years). Our mains leads are of the highest quality and we include one with ALL our power supplies. A faulty or sub-standard mains lead can cause damage to the power supply!
If you are returning an item for a replacement because it is not compatible with you appliance then please give us as much information as possible to enable us to supply the correct item: Include your appliance make and model, the power requirement voltage, amps, watts, part number if known, connector description, e.g. round barrel, 4-pin, etc. The more information you give the more likely we are to supply the correct part fast!
If you paid by credit or debit card then we can only refund payments to the credit or debit card originally used to make the purchase.
If you are returning an item because it is faulty then please describe the fault.
Delays in processing returns are caused by not including clear and sufficient information.
Items should only be returned Recorded or Special Delivery because if lost in transit we are unable to accept any liability.
It is a guarantee condition that warranty cannot be transferred
to a third party and is only applicable to the original purchaser.
If you change your name or/and address within the warranty period then you
should notify us in writing or by email with your changed details as soon
as possible and at least prior to returning any item. This is to enable us
to change your database details which the engineer or operative dealing with
your return may not be authorised to amend.
